Equipment

Camera

My camera is a Canon PowerShot SX540 HS, this Camera was actually a gift given to me by my grandfather, I have had it for a few years and regularly pictures I take with this I send back to my Grandfather. You can browse the images I have taken above, however the quality is compressed here as I want the site to be performance friendly. If you want the higher quality images I can send them to you over mail, feel free to request them at contact@jasp.re

Laptop

My laptop is a ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 (Carbon Fiber + Magnesium), I like the small form factor & portability of it, it is running Ubuntu 26.04 LTS. This is what I use for projects of mine, both on the development and design sides of things.

PC

My home PC is a custom build. I was tought by my father how to build PC’s, which is pretty cool, currently it consists mostly of recycled components:

BaseItem
OSUbuntu 26.04 LTS w/ Windows 11
MBASUS TUF GAMING B760M-PLUS WIFI II
CPU13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13900K × 32
GPURTX 2000 Ada Generation
RAM128.0 GiB DDR5 ECC
StorageSamsung SSD 970 PRO 1TB x 3
PeripheralsItem
MicSydney USB Stadium Mic
HeadAudio-Technica ATH-M40x
MouseLogitech G309

The storage layout is unique though, I have Ubuntu installed over my first 2 SSDs, and Windows 11 on my 3rd.

Now the SSDs are laid out like this:

SSD1: 1GB /boot RAID1 partition. 500GB /games RAID0 partition. 495GB / RAID1 Partition.

SSD2: 1GB /boot RAID1 partition. 500GB /games RAID0 partition. 495GB / RAID1 Partition.

SSD3: Windows.

This is due to my fear of data loss. This allows me to have 1TB of space available for games, in a RAID0 setup for performance in read and writes but the primary just increased storage capacity. And this gives me RAID1 for my data integrity, in case a drive fails my system and boot partitions are recoverable. As for windows, I do not care. I just have it for the games that do not run with Steam in Proton.

Other things I carry

On my person I carry a variety of things, primarily my Yubikeys, those being the Yubikey 5 (Type C) & the Yubikey NFC series for the increased security that hardware keys bring.
